The Magical Casa Love, Sayulita, Mexico

As we've shared many times before, Borderline Jewelry's collection of accessories depicting borders of the world was inspired by our travels. And it continues to be. Over the Christmas holidays, we traveled to Mexico for the first time as a family. (Stephan had been before on business, but neither I nor the kids had.) While we were tempted to do Tulum, we, instead, chose the small surf town of Sayulita on the Pacific Coast, less than an hour north of Puerto Vallarta. I had been reading about and wanting to visit this part of the Riviera Nayarit for close to 10 years. I knew my boys would appreciate the surfing, and we'd all enjoy the laid-back, Bohemian vibe. Say Hello to Sauvie Island, OR!

Thank you, Molly Hull, for becoming the Founder of Oregon's tranquil Sauvie Island. "We raised our two daughters on Sauvie Island, which is an island at the confluence of the Willamette and Columbia Rivers in Oregon. We moved off the island recently and our grown daughters hold this place where they were raised dear to their hearts. I would love to give them a necklace in the shape of the island.
